A wedding arrival plan that works for your guests

Arrival instructions deserve a place in the wedding plan. They help guests find the right entrance and give the valet team a schedule to work from.

Use one clear arrival point.

Confirm the entrance with your venue before including directions on your wedding website or invitations. If the property has several driveways or buildings, name the one your guests should use.

Share the ceremony and reception schedule.

Guests often arrive within a short period before the ceremony. Tell us when they are expected and when the ceremony begins. If the reception is elsewhere, explain the route and any gap in the schedule.

Confirm where vehicles will be parked.

The venue or host needs to secure a suitable parking location. Ask about permissions, access and any restrictions. When parking is away from the entrance, discuss whether short-distance shuttle service would be useful.

Leave space for individual needs.

Share any guest access requirements with the venue and valet team in advance. Agree where guests who need assistance can be dropped off and how they will reach the entrance.

Include the final departure.

A late reception finish, after-party or planned send-off can affect service hours. Give the team the full schedule so the quote reflects the evening you intend to host.
